But it was OK for a place to hold a seminar. The ballroom has standard features but since my seminar was held at day time, and they don't have the shade for big windows around the room, I didn't get quite good view for my slides presentation. I have already told management this issue and they said they will improve.
The room is big but empty with old furniture that needed attention. One thing that took my attention the moment I entered the room was the floor was dirty. I asked them to re-mop my floor and asked them to do it again next morning. The bath room in my room has broken door lock and broken cupboard doors, but I didn't tell them these since I thought this might happen to all rooms in this hotel. Oh, I stayed in the room 6 by the way.
The pool is huge, but abandoned. The pool floor was broken in so many spots and gave the expression that the last guest who swam in this pool was years ago. The pool is more like hotel garden pool than a swimming pool.
The breakfast was ala carte and only had two options when I stayed there. Nasi goreng (fried rice) or Bubur Ayam (chicken porridge). The taste... so usual, and my mother's is definitely better.
If you like to walk, you could walk early in the morning to the rice field around and the hotel with the view of Mt. Lawu in the distance. The view was just like on the post cards! May be this is the only good thing I can say for this hotel.
Room Tip: Choose on top floor near the lobby, or you cell phone signal will be lost.
