I was staying in this hotel on a business trip, so after a tiring long day, I usually longing for nice warm bath. But to my surprise, it took me 30 minutes to fill the regular size bath tub, and made me lost my mood and took shower instead. But still I filled the bath tub just to find out how much time that it needed to be filled up. The next morning, I woke up 30 minutes earlier to fill the bath tub before I took the bath! I was staying in the room 1536. I don't know about other room, but that what happened in my room.
Other than the wasting time in the bath room, this hotel is actually good for its location since it is in the city center. And if you want to try other food than the food served by the hotel, you can just easily cross the street and found the nice food court of many traditional and typical Indonesian and Javanese meal and cuisine.
If you are a Muslim and happen need to say Jumat Noon Prayer, there always a service on 6th floor with air conditioning and full carpeted room. It is very nice and handy since you don't have to find a mosque outside the hotel because Semarang is consider hot for its climate.
Room Tip: Ask the room for faster water dispense system for the bath tub!
