I guess there are 2 history museums in Shanghai. I'm writing this for the one in the ground level of Oriental Pearl Tower. So if you go there, don't miss this museum, since this is the one of the best museum in China and very good education for children.
You need the camera with low light capability to captured your moment since all area in inside is dark, and has low lighting environment.
