If you want to taste the Ulee Kareng coffee, you have to come to this coffee shop. I visited this place with my friend who is their reguler customer and make me had a privilege to go inside to their production room where they grind the coffee beans into the coffee powder. It was quite some experience for me to participate pouring the coffee beans to the grinder and took some pictures.
The taste of the coffee is somehow different from other Robusta coffee I’ve ever tasted. It just perfect! With some condensed milk and little sugar… even better. Don’t forget to taste the Sarikaya (traditional jam) bread along with your coffee.
One setback though, like other place to eat in Banda Aceh, there were no smoking free place. So for nonsmokers like me, couldn’t stand that long sitting in this coffee shop.
