I stayed in this hotel to attend the symposium held by Mt. Elizabeth Hospital, and therefore the event organizer picked this hotel for me. Since the hotel was already full, I got the room which assigned for the patients. I thought at first, all the bathroom in this hotel was designed like that. I mean, there are lots of handle bars alongside of the wall, near the closet and even near the shower. Oh one more thing, the shower doesn't have the hook on the wall so you have to hold it with your hand all the time or the spray would firing all over the place. But when I visited my friend's room who checked in a day earlier, the bath room was NORMAL. So I guess it was just not my luck.
The room was average with old wooden furniture, but it was OK. The pool though quite nice. I had a chance to take a morning dip in the pool which was quite refreshing and carved a good mood for me the whole day. The breakfast was average with regular options, but the taste is consider exceeded my expectation. Two thumbs up for the chef.
Location... only 10 minutes’ walk to Orchard Road and Lucky Plaza. So... pick this hotel for shopping activities with "NORMAL" bathroom or for 'hospital out patients' with special designed bathroom.
Room Tip: Choose the room which not assigned for the patient or sick people since the bath room will make you busy.
