Compare to several years ago, Gambir Train Station has changed a lot. First, only passenger with tickets are allowed to go inside the platform. Second, no smoking allowed in all station area. And third, it's easy to find something to eat since many restaurant and cafe in the area are available now.
But, since it is in Jakarta, where the climate is hot and humid, somehow make you feel little bit exhausted. If only they put AC on every place in the station, it would have been felt like in Munich Train Station :)
Oh one more thing... PT. Kereta Api Indonesia should somehow find a better way in boarding the passengers on to the train in order not to get too crowded on the platform.
