This hotel is one of not so many good hotels in Banda Aceh. The location is in the city center and hotel facilities is consider very good. It has swimming pool and several meeting room and a ball room. I stayed in this hotel for business trip and stayed in room 223. The room is spacious, but too bad the bath room is quite small compare to the room size. In my opinion, they should make the bathroom bigger. It has the bath tub though, so I still think that it’s OK.
When I stayed here, there was an occasion by the pool area of watching the football match in the big screen. They put the sound in to loud speakers to the point that I could still hear it in my room and made me very hard to get to sleep. I called the receptionist and ask them to deal with the problem. In 10 minutes, I noticed that they turned down the volume a little bit. But it still bother me until 11 PM! If it’s not because of this, I would have given the rating ‘excellent’.
The breakfast, though was good and served variety of food from Indonesian cuisine, American breakfast, and Aceh’s traditional dish.
