Traveled on business
The room was OK, but the bath room in my room (Room 131) had many things to be repaired. I didn't inform the hotel when I was there since I only stayed there for one night. But if up until now they don't know, I guess this review should get their attention. The thing was, almost every pipe connection in the bath room of room 131 had water leak. The hose to fill the toilet tank was leaking, the jet hose near the toilet was leaking, and the main knob of the shower was also leaking. May be they think it was not a big problem, but I hate when my bath room's floor get wet.
The food, however was good... though I had to walk 5 minutes from my room to get to the restaurant since the building where room 131 is located way back there on the far back side of the hotel. I don't believe they don't have shuttle like golf cart for the guests. I even had to take the car provided by the event organizer to take me from the lobby to my room when I checked in. It took me 30 minutes before I got that car, and not a single hotel staff gave a damn about me standing in the lobby near my bags waiting for the transportation from the lobby to the my room.
As a frequent traveler, I really think that Novotel Palembang should have the electric-powered shuttle like golf-cart available for their guests, especially upon check in and check out.
Room Tip: The garden or pool view is good choice!
